CURRENT EXHIBITORS
Are you a current exhibitor, or have you shown artwork in our gallery or shop in the past? Scroll down this webpage to find resources about the 2026 gallery schedule, artist contracts, inventory tag documents, writing instructions, and more documents to help you prepare to submit your artwork to our upcoming exhibitions.
EXHIBITOR FEE POLICIES & EXHIBITION INTEREST DOCUMENTS
Every artist is asked to pay an annual fee of $20.00 to offset Gallery costs. Use the exhibitor interest sheet and the upcoming exhibitions for 2026 document to express interest in participating in specific shows.
WIRING INSTRUCTIONS
All two-dimensional artwork must be wired for hanging, and this sheet shows what is acceptable and what is not. Other artwork (such as sculptural pieces) must be able to support themselves on one of our pedestals in our gallery space. If you want to display an art piece that is larger than 48 inches and/or heavier than 25 lbs, please contact us directly at operations@ashecountyarts.org. We’re happy to work with artists to exhibit larger artworks, but we must know ahead of time so we can assess if our facility can safely house the art pieces and so we can prepare the appropriate supplies to display the art pieces.
GALLERY CONTRACT & GALLERY INVENTORY LISTING
For each exhibit, every artist must sign a contract and complete the inventory listing.
Both of these documents can be found below as PDF images.
GALLERY EXHIBIT PROPOSALS
Gallery exhibit proposals are for individual artists or artist groups that are interested in filling the Ashe Arts Center gallery space for a monthly exhibit. Proposals are open to artists ages 18+. Proposals will be considered annually by the Gallery Committee. Proposals are currently being accepting for 2027 and beyond.
