Ashe County Arts Council, Library to Host Eighth Annual Literary Festival Sept. 15-19

West Jefferson will celebrate its eighth annual “On The Same Page” Literary Festival next week, and all lovers of writing and literature are invited. The festival will run from Tuesday, Sept. 15 through Saturday, Sept. 19 and will feature events from dawn till dusk.
“On the Same Page celebrates reading and writing,” said director Jane Lonon. “It brings outstanding, nationally known authors to rural Ashe County and brings the community together through the written and spoken word.”

“On the Same Page,” Ashe County’s Literary Festival, celebrates its eighth year in 2015 with award-winning authors, and plans for a festival filled with reading, a book fair, writing workshops, a farmers’ market and more.
“We build on what we’ve learned from our festivalgoers in years past and bring something really special for book lovers and writers,” according to Jane Lonon, executive director of the Ashe County Arts Council.
