Spring Fest

Spring Fest is Here!  This is the 34th year of celebrating art for Ashe County’s young people!  Spring Fest is Saturday, April 6 at the Early Learning Center from  9am – 2pm.

The theme this year is Where the Art Things Are. Activities will be patterned after the popular book “Where the Wild Things Are”. Hands on activities will include magical monsters, wild horns and tails, float a boat, printmaking, texture rubbings, stamping, button making, clay monster pots and more!   All activities are free.  An nominal charge of $5 to silkscreen a t-shirt with the festival logo.

There will be art displays, roving entertainers and talent show.  There will be festival food available for purchase!
The event is free and open to the public!

Spring Fest is funded in part by a Grassroots Arts Program Grant from the North Carolina Arts Council, a division of the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources.  Thanks to Lifestore Bank and Insurance for their sponsorship of the 2019 Spring Fest event!
