How to Sell Your Artwork Online

In this seminar, we explore the features of well-known e-commerce hosts such as the eBay Store, Etsy, and, as well as other options for creating your own online store to sell your artwork using platforms such as Shopify and BigCommerce. PayPal and other payment gateways will also be discussed. At the end of this session, you will be able to determine if you need to sell online and the differences between platforms to help you determine what is right for you. You will also be able to set up your own online store and develop a marketing plan.

This seminar is about maximizing social media tools and platforms, which give visual artists new ways to market their creations and to connect with buyers all over the world. If someone searches for your business, what do they see? Are they intrigued enough to buy from you or do they move on? Are you consistent in your social media posts? This class is about making sure you have a good online presence and using Internet tools to highlight your art.

Workshops sponsored by Wilkes Community College Small Business Center and the Ashe County Arts Council.  Workshops are free of charge; registration required.  Call Ashe County Arts Council  to reserve a seat.
